AT&T Advertisement Design

Summary

When: 2011
Company: AT&T
My role: Online Advertising Designer

Working at AT&T was brief and rewarding. My role as an Advertising Designer at AT&T was unlike my previous roles, however, it built upon my skills exercised at Sesame Communications. This was also my first role that truly used data to measure the ROI (return on investment) and customer conversion rates.

The bulk of my work was web animation design created in Flash and Photoshop for all sizes of web banners and ad placement. I worked with highly seasoned and talented animation designers. From them I learned to obsess over every pixel. At 300×250 and smaller – every pixel matters.

My time at AT&T was cut short, due to a callback that changed my career trajectory. After applying in December of 2010, 343 Industries, the new caretakers of the Halo video game franchise, wanted to interview me in March of 2011. My dream job had literally called and I answered.
