I designed, developed, and launched 65+ unique dentist and orthodontist websites within 2 years (2008-2010). Designing websites in Photoshop and developing approved designs with PHP, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. I consistently handled the pressure of short turnarounds.

I designed and developed the first mobile site offering of Sesame Communications.

For the most part, I was given carte blanche. The greatest challenge was creating unique websites time and time again, based on limited specifications passed along from the client. A lot had to be inferred from a few adjectives. I quickly recognized that “classy” meant serifs typeface often combined with blue or natural hues, “modern” meant sans-serif and bold colors, and those wanting “sexy” designs featured large, beautiful, spotlight images. A few clients wanted their passions, such as specific athletics, to shine through.

More often than not, if a client didn’t have a logo, I would design a brand at the same time as designing their website. Nearly every website also included custom Flash animation.
